AI Contract Overview
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport is conducting recurring bi-monthly Mastery of the Seas Office Hours to engage with industry partners and outline strategic priorities for undersea warfare capabilities. This pre-solicitation event, identified by solicitation number N66604June2026MOS and posted under NAICS code 561920, is designed to facilitate dialogue between government subject matter experts and private sector stakeholders, allowing industry to better understand how to align with the Center’s mission. Participation is open to all interested parties but requires advance registration submitted via email to Maria Gregory no later than the Friday preceding each Tuesday event. Attendees may join either in person at Building 80, Conference Room 208 in Newport, Rhode Island, or virtually via Microsoft Teams, with a unique link provided to registered participants one hour prior to each session. The event includes a brief welcome and discussion format running from 1200 to 1300 EST and offers an opportunity to submit questions in advance or during the session. It is explicitly non-binding; no contractual obligations arise from participation or information exchanged, and the government will not compensate attendees for any costs incurred. Industry participants must complete a registration form that collects basic organizational details including Cage Code, U.S. ownership status, business size classification, and socio-economic designation, but no marketing materials are permitted on-site. Attendance is free, though respondents must independently monitor SeaPort for updates on upcoming sessions, and failure to respond to this notice does not disqualify future participation. This initiative reflects a pre-procurement outreach effort to foster collaboration without initiating a formal acquisition process.
