AI Contract Overview
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando is seeking to procure essential brand-name, end-of-life spare components to support the Navy Aviation Distributed Mission Training (NADMT) program. This acquisition aims to address the risks associated with obsolescence by ensuring the System Integration Laboratory achieves and maintains a 90% operational availability for integrating the Joint Simulation Environment with Carrier Air Wing platforms. Given the complexity of the NADMT’s system-of-systems architecture, the purchase requires a brand-name restriction but will be competitively awarded among authorized distributors and resellers to the greatest extent possible. The contract requires the awarded contractor to handle the procurement, inspection, and delivery of a complete spares package to San Diego, California, with consolidated shipments to streamline logistics and government acceptance. Delivery must occur no later than September 15, 2026, though earlier delivery is encouraged to prevent potential readiness issues. This is a combined, total small business set-aside contract with solicitation number N6134026Q1007, posted on June 11, 2026, with responses due by June 22, 2026. The NAWCTSD office overseeing the contract is located in Orlando, Florida, and the primary points of contact are Emily Lawrence and Michael Davis.

Full Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Orlando requires the procurement of critical brand-name, End-of-Life (EOL) spare components to support the Navy Aviation Distributed Mission Training (NADMT) program. Proactively securing this hardware mitigates imminent obsolescence risks and ensures the System Integration Laboratory (SIL) maintains the 90% operational availability required for the seamless integration of the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) with Carrier Air Wing (CVW) platforms. Due to the highly complex, system-of-systems architecture of the NADMT, this acquisition requires a Brand Name restriction, which will be competed among authorized distributors and resellers to the maximum extent practicable.
Upon award, the contractor shall be responsible for the procurement, inspection, and delivery of a comprehensive spares package to San Diego, CA. To optimize logistics and streamline Government acceptance, the contractor must consolidate shipments to the maximum extent practicable. Delivery is required No Later Than (NLT) 15 September 2026; however, early delivery is highly encouraged to mitigate potential readiness gaps.
