Napa River Estuary Enhancement and Public Access Project

The Napa River Estuary Enhancement and Public Access Project will advance ecological restoration and public access improvements along the Napa River by breaching a levee to restore 46 acres of tidal wetlands, converting an existing barn into an interpretive center, and redeveloping levee tops into public trails. The work includes comprehensive site evaluations, detailed design planning, preparation of all necessary CEQA documentation, and submission of regulatory permit applications to ensure compliance with environmental and land use standards. Public outreach efforts will be integrated throughout the process to engage stakeholders and build community support for the proposed changes. The project is led by the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority and will be executed in Napa, California, with Susan Glendening serving as the primary point of contact for coordination and inquiries.
