The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation.Work Description:Purpose:Construction of a new post frame building for storage equipment at Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) at Nashlyn Pasture Site.Objective:Work of this Contract comprises of: Supply and construct a new 16.46m (54’-0”) x 21.95m (72’-0”) post frame shop building with an eave height of 4.87m (16’-0”). Building to include shop area, kitchen/office area, washroom, mechanical/electrical room and storage mezzanine.Provide all building systems including:Metal clad insulated double pitched roof systemMetal clad insulated exterior wall systemsOverhead doorsWalk-in doorsStorage mezzanineWindowsHVAC SystemsPlumbingElectricalSite ServicesPropane tankSite Visit:There will be no scheduled site visit.Delivery Date:The Contractor must perform and complete work within 26 weeks from the accepted start date shown in the schedule of the awarded contractor.Estimated Value:To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $450,000.00 and $650,000.00 (taxes excluded).Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
