By means of the RFP, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders for: 1. Review regional flood hazard modelling examples relevant to the FHIMP in Canada and internationally, identify good practices, challenges and limitations. 2. Develop technical recommendations and guidance for regional flood hazard modelling in Canada. 3. Develop a research and action plan for NRCan to support Federal, Provincial and Territorial levels of governments in the implementation of regional flood hazard modelling through FHIMP. 4. Prepare case studies to evaluate and document the applicability of the proposed technical recommendations and guidance for regional flood hazard modelling.
