The Department of Labor is seeking industry feedback and capabilities through a Request for Information for nationwide third party inventory and audit services. The primary objectives are to reduce fraud, waste, and abuse through the physical verification of over 450,000 personal property line items while lowering overall inventory costs. The government is specifically looking for information on commercial best practices, logistical capabilities across various regions, and recommendations for a pre-priced departmental wide contract structure. Interested companies must provide a detailed summary of their capabilities under NAICS code 541614, including their business size, historical experience with federal agencies, and a rough order of magnitude for pricing. Responses should address potential performance risks, suggested roles and responsibilities, and any necessary refinements to the draft Performance Work Statement. This is a market research effort for planning purposes and does not constitute a formal solicitation or a binding contract.
