NATO Request for Information: NCISG - DCIS – Tactical Radios for Deployment of NDDS and MSES

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) under reference MS-424361-TACTICAL-RADIOS to gather industry capabilities for a handheld tactical radio system designed to enhance short-range, unclassified voice communication within military tactical units during convoy movements and deployment phases. The system must support 24-hour continuous operation, be installable in NATO-standard vehicles with minimal or no modification, and comply with MIL-STD-810H environmental durability standards and IP67 ingress protection for dust and water resistance. The radios are not intended to replace existing NATO inventory but to provide redundancy and risk mitigation for the Alliance’s DCIS Detachment operations.
