By means of the RFP, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders for the collection and delivery of high quality magneto telluric data as outlined in the detailed technical specifications and task list in the Statement of Work. The department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement to assess the geothermal potential of volcanic belts in Western Canada. This includes a project focused over Teslin. As part of this research, there is a requirement to use natural field electromagnetic (EM) surveys as a lower cost approach to collect data in mountainous volcanic terrains and map subsurface alteration and fluid conduits/fractures. As such, a helicopter-borne natural field EM survey is proposed at Teslin. The principal target is measuring the resistivity of the subsurface to 500m or deeper. A 220 line-km over one survey block over Teslin, Yukon is being proposed. The Contractor shall conduct the natural field EM survey according to the Detailed Technical Specifications outlined in the Statement of Work and deliver field data to the Technical Authority (TA This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement(s): - Teslin Tlingit Council Final Agreement
