NAWCAD WOLF Network Radio Gateways (NRGs)

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has awarded a sole-source Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Parraid LLC for the procurement of brand-name Network Radio Gateways (NRGs) under solicitation N6833525R0365. This acquisition is authorized under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) because Parraid LLC is the only manufacturer capable of providing NRGs that meet all technical requirements while ensuring configuration management and interoperability with the Radio Integration System (RIS) Family of Systems. The contract supports USSOCOM by enabling integrated voice and data communications across tactical radios and IP networks, specifically requiring support for Voice over IP (VoIP), Radio over IP (RoIP) conferencing, and High Performance Waveform data transmission. The contract spans five one-year ordering periods, with a total quantity range between a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 520 units. Deliveries are expected within 180 days of each order, with the primary place of performance located at Joint Base MDL, New Jersey. To ensure mission criticality and security, the NRGs must maintain Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certification and USSOCOM Authority to Operate (ATO) cybersecurity accreditation, both of which were obtained in August 2022. The equipment must also comply with Military Standard 188/184 for Data Control Waveform and integrate seamlessly with seven existing tactical radio systems.
