Hill AFB is looking to establish a five (5) year Basic with (4) one year ordering periods of the following: - 1.1 12 ea. 55 Gallon drums of Met-L-Chek E-57 lipophilic emulsifier, NDT Inspection penetrant emulsifier Type 1 Method B per AMS-2644/ SSTM E-1417. This is an annual amount requirement. - 1.2 12 ea. 55 Gallon drums of Met-L-Chek FP-95A (M) inspection penetrant, NDT Inspection penetrant Type 1 Methods B, C & D per AMS-2644/ ASTM E-1417. This is also an annual amount requirement. this is a brand name requirement as Per Technical Order (T.O.) 33B-1-1, these materials manufactured by different vendors cannot be mixed together. Material must be combined with Original Equipment Manufacture's (OEM) product. Met-L-Chek is the manufacturer of the Inspection Penetrant and Lipophilic Emulsifier that is currently being used in the 2,200 gallon tanks at HAFB located in 309 Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG).
