Full Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to the International Electrical Testing Association Inc. (NETA). This requirement will provide training, evaluation, and certification of competency of Soldiers of the 249th Engineering Battalion along with accreditation of the 249th Engineering Battalion organization. The contract will allow Soldiers to be certified in accordance with the ANSI/NETA ETT through NETA and shall be subject to the same rules, policies, and guidelines established by NETA that govern the examination and certification of NETA Certified Testing Technicians. NETA provides the infrastructure, tracking, administers support, and provides avenues for earning continuing technical development credits (CTD credits) through NETA. This contract will provide online technical training, electrical safety training, along with self-paced technical seminars, etc. No competition is being sought.
Period of Performance: One base year and two option years of 12 months each.
A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) days of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will proceed with awarding a Firm Fixed contract to the International Electrical Testing Association Inc.
