This acquisition is for maintenance renewal on NetApp Hardware Software and Maintenance for use in an existing data center environment. This hardware is already owned and deployed by DISC. The USDA has determined that switching to another vendors hardware is prohibitive from both a cost and functionality perspective. The DISC NetApp systems store virtual machines and CIFS and NFS data for almost all USDA customers across all business agreements to include primary secondary and offsite replicated storage.
