This requirements for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is for installation, testing, and documentation of structured cabling and wiring infrastructure to support network, voice, video, and peripheral services at the designated facility at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Building at 441 G St NW, Washington, DC 20226. The objective is to provide a reliable, standards compliant cabling system that meets current and forecasted operational needs.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to install and certify new structured cabling (e.g., CAT6/CAT6A, fiber optic cabling) in support of IT operations, workspace build outs, conference rooms, and specialized systems. Work shall comply with federal IT standards, agency policies, and industry codes.
