161st ARW Advantor Network This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1); ); Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for the continued development or production of a major system. In addition, pursuant to FAR 5.202(a)(2) posting will be abbreviated to 5 days. The 161st ARW Arizona Air National Guard, 3200E Old Tower Rd Phoenix, AZ 85034 has a requirement to procure JAFAN 6/9 compliant technology. Per AFI131-101 6.3.6.10 Communication network equipment and associated cabling dedicated solely for IDS systems to create a "closed system". This effort will meet the updated regulation. The Arizona Air National Guard intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Advantor Systems Corporation. This proposal provides the network switches needed to support independent communications for base Electronic Security Systems equipment. As a follow on to an existing network of electronic security, a contract will be awarded under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This is not a request for competitive proposals. Scope of Work/System Description: This proposal is a firm, fixed price fulfilling network security requirements. It includes the following services: - Provide and install 48-port managed network switch in Building 26 communications room. - Provide and install 8-port managed network switches in Buildings 6, 7, 10, 15, 20, 52 and 56. - Program network switches as needed to support system communications. - Perform turnkey installation of all components, to include all conduit, trenching/boring and power except as stipulated under Collateral Support below. - Perform Contractor Field Testing and commission system into service. - Provide as-built drawings including device location, conduit placement and wiring scheme The location of contract performance is as follows: 161 ARW/Goldwater ANG Base 3200 E Old Tower Rd Phoenix, AZ 85034 Determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
