The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) - Sole Source (Including Brand Name) Acquisitions, a firm-fixed price contract for Neurolucida 360 software package that analyzes microscopy data and is compatiable with existing Neurolucida software in use in the laboratories. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS. This notice of intent is to give notice of the Government's intent to make a sole source award. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. Contractors who can provide the USAMRAA with the required products are invited to respond to this notice of intent. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.203(a). Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the evaluation of the information received.
