BID NOTICE   Sealed bids will be received by Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 (mailing address PO Box 2392, Gonzales, LA 70707-2392) until June 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time.  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:                                                                                                                                              New Split Drum Vibratory Roller with Tow Package                                                                                                         Model 240 VT Vibratory asphalt roller, 12-volt negative ground electrical system equipped with tow package Engine & Equipment: Tier 4 Final 24.8 hp, V1505- E4B Kubota water-cooled, 4-cylinder diesel engine Front Drum: Two-piece split design, each drum capable of 40 gallons of water capacity for a total of 80 gallons.   LA. R.S. 38:2212 (T) (2) Whenever in specifications the name of a certain brand, make, manufacturer or definite specifications utilized, the specifications, shall state clearly that they do not restrict bidders to the specific brand, make, manufacturer, or specification named; that they are used only to set forth and convey to prospective bidders the general style, type character, and quality of the product desired and that equivalent products will be acceptable.   Unit to be received/ delivered to 42077 Churchpoint Road, Gonzales, LA 70737.     Bidding Documents may be obtained at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Department located at 615 E.
