New Warehouse Forklift

Wicomico County is soliciting bids under solicitation number 2027-IFB-035 for the furnishing and delivery of one new, current-production, sit-down, counterbalanced forklift truck. The equipment must be unused and suitable for both indoor and outdoor industrial material handling, meeting all applicable OSHA standards and federal, state, and local requirements. The unit must be delivered fully assembled, operational, and ready for use to a County-designated location by December 1, 2026. Bidders may also provide an optional price for forklift operator training. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor. Responsiveness is determined by the bid's conformity to the documents, while responsibility is evaluated based on insurance adequacy, current workload capacity, fulfillment methods, and compliance with Maryland laws and ordinances. Required submission materials include a Certificate of Good Standing from the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation, proof of Workers' Compensation Insurance, and three references from the last 12 to 36 months. Bids are due by November 4, 2026, at 2:30 pm. Payment terms are set at 30 days following the receipt of a proper invoice.
