Bids will be received online by Lower Nazareth Township via PennBid until 11:00 AM prevailing time on Thursday, June 27, 2024, for the following: NEWBURG DEMOLITION PHASE 3 (KROCK PROPERTY) LOWER NAZARETH TOWNSHIP, NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PA The project consists of demolishing a wood-framed house and two wood-framed garages and all other associated work listed herein. All documents and details are available electronically at PennBid—https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the project site, 442 Daniels Road, Nazareth, PA. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Lower Nazareth Twp or a Bid Bond in favor of Lower Nazareth Twp in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The work on this project constitutes Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that workers employed on this project must be paid the prevailing minimum wage rates promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor.
