This contract requires commercial rock crushing/stockpiling services. Rock crushing shall occur within the established USFS Burpee Mountain Pit. The contractor shall crush approximately 50,000 Tons of Grading F Surface Course, 10,000 Tons of Grading P Base Course and 5000 CY of Class 3 Rip Rap for stockpile. Half of the crushed rock of each gradation (25,000 Tons Grading F, 5,000 Tons Grading P and 2500 CY Rip Rap) shall be hauled to Dixie Summit for stockpiling. The contract also requires clearing and grubbing, maintaining the haul route upon completion of stockpiling activities, seeding and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is located on the Red River Ranger District in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. The Dixie Summit Stockpile is located about 15 miles south of Elk City, ID on Road 222, and Burpee Mountain Pit is 5.5 southwest of Dixie Summit on Road 1188. Dixie Summit is in Section 2, Township 26N, Range 8E (45�36'55.26"N, 115�26'35.80"W) and Burpee Mountain Pit is in Section 20, Township 26N, Range 8E (45�34'20.77N, 115�.29'41.79"W) The Request for Quotes was issued with all attachments on 7/18/2019.**Attendance at an organized site visit is MANDATORY for quote submission. See the provision on page 43 of the solicitation for details. Work on the project site shall commence no earlier than June 15, 2020. All work shall be completed by October 15, 2020. As a commercial service project, no bonding is required. An organized site visit was held on 7/31/2019. Notes were uploaded to FBO 8/6/2019. Amendment 1 was issued on 8/6/2019 to clarify and change small sections of Attachment 1, FSSS and provide a modified SF-1449 for quote submission. Quoters are required to acknowledge the solicitation amendment by signing and submitting the SF-30 with the other required quotation documents or via an alternative method detailed in Block 11 of the SF-30. The date for receipt of quotes is unchanged.
