AI Contract Overview
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), through its Acquisition and Grants Office, is conducting market research to identify small business sources capable of delivering advanced geodetic data processing services for the National Geodetic Survey (NGS). The requirement involves the development of a scalable processing framework to generate authoritative coordinates for geodetic reference points associated with Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) not currently covered in existing NGS solutions. This effort demands expertise in GNSS data processing, geodetic reference systems, network adjustment techniques, metadata management, quality control, and coordinate estimation. Contractors must handle GNSS observation data ingestion, implement multiple processing methodologies, conduct coordinate validation and uncertainty analysis, and produce operational coordinate products with supporting documentation. This Sources Sought Notice is solely for market research purposes and is not a solicitation or commitment from the Government. Responses are voluntary, confidential, and will not be compensated. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541690, with a small business size standard of $19 million. Interested small businesses are invited to submit their capabilities through a designated Google Form by May 29, 2026, and must direct any inquiries to designated NOAA contacts.
