This is a Special Notice to all National Institutes of Health (NIH) Contractors to rescind NIH Special Notice 2022-05-04 titled NIH Notification to Contractors - COVID 19 Community Level Facility Access Requirements. In accordance with NIH safety protocols and the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force Guidance, NIH is no longer requiring Contractor notification of facility access requirements (vaccine attestation or testing) when the COVID-19 Community Level increases from LOW to MEDIUM or HIGH. NIH contractors should remain aware of the updated NIH Safety Plan which provides mitigation efforts and safety protocols to be followed in NIH facilities and based on the COVID-19 community levels where facilities are located, including elevated requirements for healthcare areas. Please continue to check the guidance and tables on the safety plan regularly as guidance is subject to change.
