NOAA: Environmental Test Chamber for NWS Radar Operations Center

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a firm fixed price contract for the procurement of a single environmental test chamber, specifically a Test Equity Chambers TE-123H or an equivalent 120VAC unit with an included nitrogen bottle, for use by the Radar Operations Center in Norman, Oklahoma. The chamber must meet precise technical specifications including a temperature range of -68°C to +175°C with a control tolerance of ±0.5°C and uniformity of ±1°C, humidity control from 5% to 95% RH with ±3% RH tolerance when using gas nitrogen or dry air purge, and must include a Watlow F4 controller, dual cascade-configured Tecumseh compressors, and refrigerants R-404A and R-508B. This acquisition is strictly a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 334519, meaning only small business entities are eligible to bid, and the award will be made to the lowest-priced offeror whose proposal meets all technical acceptability standards.
