NOAA NOS NGS Terrestrial Lidar Scanners

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Geodetic Survey is conducting market research to identify capable vendors for terrestrial lidar scanners and related support services to support core hydrographic and geospatial missions, as well as rapid-response data collection after natural and manmade disasters. The requirement includes two distinct terrestrial lidar systems: a long-range system capable of collecting survey-grade 3D data at distances of at least 2,000 meters and a portable short-range system capable of operation at distances exceeding 600 meters. In addition to the hardware, vendors must be able to provide associated software, comprehensive maintenance plans, training programs, licensing, and a one-year warranty option. This solicitation is a Sources Sought Notice, not a Request for Quotation, and does not obligate the government to award a contract.
