This initiative, classified under NAICS code 336413, seeks organizations with the technical, financial, and operational capacity to handle full-scale new manufacture including component procurement, inspection, testing, packaging, and shipping, as well as supply chain management, production forecasting, and mitigation of diminishing manufacturing sources. Responses must include organizational details and tailored capability statements demonstrating experience with similar requirements, along with explanations of any teaming or subcontracting structures. The government will use submissions to assess market readiness, determine whether to set aside the future procurement for small businesses, and evaluate the potential for multiple awards. No solicitation is active, no contract will be awarded based on this notice, and no funding is available for response preparation. Interested parties must submit all information by 3:00 PM EST on August 15, 2026, exclusively via email to Lionel Allamby Jr. at lionel.allamby@dla.mil. Responses are strictly voluntary and will not be evaluated or acknowledged; the government assumes no obligation to proceed with procurement or provide feedback. The estimated requirement is for 79 units, with unit pricing to be determined only during future contract award. The notice emphasizes that this is purely informational, not a solicitation, and does not commit the government to any future action or expenditure. Additional points of contact are available through Melinda Clayton and Lionel Allamby Jr., but telephone inquiries will not be responded to. All responses must be submitted electronically and comply with the minimum data requirements outlined in FAR 10.001(b).
