Title: Non- Standard Weapons (NSW)/ Commercially available M134D-M weapons, associated hardware, training and installation services
Description: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (FAR) 5.101(a), "For proposed contract actions expected to be greater than $20,000, post a pre-solicitation notice to the GPE unless an exemption in paragraph (b) applies."
ACC-NJ, on behalf of Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maneuver Ground, Capability Program Executive Ground, Project Manager Soldier Lethality, Product Director Crew Served Weapons (PdD CSW), intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Dillon Aero, Inc., pursuant to the authority 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) §3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1(c)(2)(i), substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition.
The scope of the requirement is to procure commercially available non-standard weapons, specifically the M134D-M (Marinized) Minigun System, M134D-M Marine/Vessel Mount Package, M134D-M Marine/Vessel Power Supply & Ammo Handling Equipment, M134D-M Special Tool Package, M134D-M Contractor Provided Spares Package, installation and training.
