Marine Atlantic (MAI) is seeking proposals from experienced organization(s) for the provision of Non-violent crisis intervention training on an as required basis. The intent of this RFQ is to enter a non-exclusive contract with the Supplier. MAI does not guarantee any work will result from the Agreement. The required scope of work for each individual requirement will be mutually agreed upon with the Supplier in accordance with the terms and conditions and rates in the Agreement. Description of Services Locations: The Supplier will be required to provide comprehensive in-person, interactive non-violent crisis intervention training to Marine Atlantic staff in the locations listed below: Port aux Basques, NL North Sydney, NS Argentia and/or St. John’s, NL Training Techniques: The Supplier will be required to include, the following training: Prevention through early identification and early intervention De-escalation techniques De-Briefing strategies Personal Safety Post-Training Support: The Supplier shall provide post training support, as needed, such as follow-up consultations, or access to additional resources. Reporting and Documentation: The Supplier shall provide a report summarizing the training outcomes and participant feedback, along with recommendations for future improvements to the MAI contactBidding and Documents are available on http://www.merx.com.
