The Town of Rocky Mount, Virginia (Town or Rocky Mount) is soliciting electronic proposals from qualified Architectural/Engineering firms (A/E firm or firm) to provide professional design, engineering, bidding, and construction administration services for the North Main Corridor Business District Revitalization Project, funded in part through a 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business District Revitalization award from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) in the amount of $801,533. Additional non-CDBG funding sources will support related corridor improvements as part of the overall revitalization effort. The Town intends to select a qualified multidisciplinary firm capable of assisting with implementation of the following project elements: façade improvements for participating properties, streetscape and pedestrian safety improvements, wayfinding enhancements, industrial heritage mural coordination, and related corridor infrastructure coordination within the North Main Corridor.
