Heavy Excavation ServicesThe contract titled Heavy Excavation Services is a small business set-aside under the SBA program, specifically designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, meaning only small businesses are eligible to bid. The work involves operating heavy excavators of ten tons or more to perform sand excavation, grading, and shaping of OHV routes on unstable dune terrain, with additional requirements for clearing vegetation and removing obstructions. This work requires specialized expertise in handling challenging land conditions where terrain instability and environmental sensitivity are key considerations.
