Northland School Division - Request for Proposal - Chipewyan Lake School Electrical Service Replacement/Repair

The Northland School Division is seeking qualified contractors to replace or repair the underground electrical service connecting the ATCO service pole to the main service disconnect at Chipewyan Lake School in Alberta, following damage caused by a forest fire in May 2025. The existing 3-phase 120/208-volt, 400-amp electrical service is suspected to have compromised insulation in the conduit at the base of the pole, necessitating a solution that restores reliable and code-compliant power to the school. Proposals must address either the complete replacement of the buried cables or an alternative, approved method that mitigates the risk of insulation failure while meeting all applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
