This small business set-aside requires an executive-level expert with a PhD in Pharmacology and Drug Development and specific expertise in pain to serve on the External Oversight Committee. The SME will provide strategic guidance, technical feedback on drug discovery projects, and mentorship to NIH leadership to help advance at least two novel non-opioid therapeutics into clinical trials within five years.
