7/18/22 - Modification 1 to this NOCA adds one (1) option year. The overall requirement of the software is to be able to screen materials in silico before investing the significant time and monetary resources necessary to actually synthesize and characterize new materials. The software is required to be capable of (1) accurately simulating both high- and low-temperature thermosetting polymeric materials, (2) performing calculations that simulate the cure of said thermosetting materials, (3) predicting and analyzing glass transition temperature and free volume of the resulting cured materials, and (4) running in parallel on multi-core GPUs in order to decrease the turn-around time of large simulations. This requirement is for a 1 year base and one year option license for software previously purchased. Please see attached Notice of Contract Action for more information.
