Notice of Intend to Award Sole Source to EZENIA

The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, CO, intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract EZENIA! Incorporated (CAGE 1G6R2) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government's requirement is for license renewals for the InfoWorkSpace Server Kit and InfoWorkSpace Executive User License software suites. InfoWorkSpace is manufactured and distributed by EZENIA! THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency if received before 4:00 PM MST, 24 July 2017. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 21st Contracting Squadron Peterson AFB, CO intends to award a Purchase Order to EZENIA! Inc., at 401 Main Street Ste 205 Salem, NH 03079, for the purchase of InfoWorkSpace License Renewal to be used at the National Security Space Institute (NSSI) in their Space Power Laboratory. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the business size standard is $38.5M. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that EZENIA! is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required software and no other software will satisfy the agency's requirements. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting NSSI's requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and shall be emailed to Jennifer Brite at jennifer.brite@us.af.mil and are due by 4:00 PM MST on 24 July 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
