The Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Emergency Management Center, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order for a period of one (1) 12-month base period, with four (4) 12-month option periods, to Comcast, One Comcast Center, Philadelphia, PA 19103 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 515210 with the size standard of $38.5 million. Basic Services required; providing high speed internet service and television cable service. Base: Date of Award to February 24, 2017 Option One: February 25, 2017 to February 24, 2018 Option Two: February 25, 2019 to February 24, 2020 Option Three: February 25, 2020 to February 24, 2021 Option Four: February 25, 2021 to February 24, 2022 Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All interested sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency for future purposes. This notice is not a formal solicitation. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of information received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase order will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed purchase order on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
