The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Central National Technology Support Center (CNTSC), located in Fort Worth, Texas, intends to award a sole source fixed price purchase order to Louisiana Cattlemen's Association, located at 4921 I-10 Frontage Road, Port Allen, LA, 70767. This special notice is prepared under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative News letter will be produced, published, and distributed for the amount of 11,000 copies, every other month during the period of October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013. The Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI) is a collaborative process of individuals and organizations working nationwide to maintain and improve the management, productivity and health of the Nation's Privately-owned grazing lands. GLCI was developed to provide for a coordinated effort to identify priority issues, find solutions, and effect change on private grazing lands. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order is at the sole discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This is a notice and a solicitation will not be issued. NRCS will not respond to requests for solicitation copies and will not pay for information received in response to this announcement. This notice is not a request for proposals. No solicitation document is available. For the purposes of this notice of intent, the associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511120 - Periodical Publishers/Newsletter Publishers and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Information received will normally be considered for purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for similar purchases in the future.
