Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 341st Contracting Squadron (CONS) - Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana intends to award on a sole-source basis a contract Western Metal Supply to furnish replacement steel and components for a wind damaged Pre-Engineered Building on Malmstrom Air Force Base. The delivery date consists of thirty (30) days from award of contract. Western Metal Supply owns and controls the specifications for the PEB in need of repair. Therefore, only Western Metal Supply is capable of fulfilling this requirement. Western Metal Supply does not sell any of its products or services to third parties or distributors. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
