The Defense Health Agency plans to extend a sole source contract with Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. for an additional three months to continue providing specialized consulting services within the Warrior Care office. These services support critical programs including the Disability Evaluation System (DES), Special Compensation for Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (SCAADL), Communications and Outreach, and the U.S./U.K. Task Force. The scope includes professional, administrative, and management consulting in areas such as strategic planning, policy development, data management, training, quality assurance, and operational oversight. Specific tasks involve conducting and integrating survey reports, updating IT enterprise architecture, analyzing business requirements for DES, supporting training programs related to DES processes, and assisting with information management reporting and quality assurance visits. This extension is necessary to ensure uninterrupted service as the agency awaits a decision from the Government Accountability Office regarding a protest related to the upcoming contract award. Given Booz Allen Hamilton’s existing operational knowledge and infrastructure, they are uniquely positioned to maintain continuity during this interim period. While other entities may submit capability statements, the agency’s priority is to utilize the existing contract while the procurement dispute is resolved. The government will not be liable for any costs incurred from responses to this notice, and a formal Justification and Approval document will be made available within 14 days following the contract extension. The contract work will be performed in Falls Church, VA, under NAICS code 541611.
