The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Hardware Section (DITCO-PL8322), Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with HiRel Connectors, Inc. for acquisition of the brand name HiRel Electrical Connectors. The regulatory authority permitting this sole source acquisition is Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform within 5 days of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Suppliers may provide correspondence via email at the following address: charice.l.manor.civ@mail.mil. The estimated date of award is December 5, 2019. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
