Full Description

The Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard (USCG), Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC) intends to enter into negotiations on a sole-source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Morton Bahamas Limited, Matthew Town, Inagua, Bahamas, for providing Jet A Aviation fuel, Diesel and Gasoline to the USCG Air Station Clearwater's base in Great Inagua. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price modification to Contract HSCG84-15-C-BB7075 for a three (3) month extension. Current contract period of performance expires 31 March 2017. The modification will allow for the continuation of fuel delivery until negotiations are finalized. The follow-on solicitation for these services (HSCG84-17-Q-BB5102) has a revised start date of 01 August 2017 through 31 July 2018 with four one-year options. The incumbent contractor is onsite and has the equipment, personnel, and resources that will allow continued performance under contract HSCG84-17-C-BB7075 and therefore will not cause a lapse in services. The NAICS code is 424720. The small business size standard is 200 employees. The period of performance for this modification will be from 01 April 2017 through 31 July 2017. The contract type will be a firm fixed price modification to the existing contract. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Responders will be required to demonstrate their abilities to support this effort while ensuing their proposed method in their proposal does not have any potential adverse impact upon schedule or price. If no responses are received within three (3) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Morton Bahamas Limited, Matthew Town, Inagua, Bahamas.
