--Notice of Intent

The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to issue a Sole Source purchase order to AudioCare Systems, 1436 Lancaster Ave. Ste. 210, Malvern, PA 19355-2517. This procurement is to provide AudoiCare license and maintenance t o support the Tricare online Pharmacy Refill Module for 122 medical treatment facilities. This procurement is being issued in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). An y firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit a written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen calendar days from the data of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide this stated capability. Supporting information can be sent to the Contracting Officer at: USAMRAA, ATTN: MCMR-AAA-P (Justin Pickett), 820 Chandler Street, Frederick, MD 21702-5014. No telephone reque st will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are recei ved, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
