LGCAC-5-0111 The 802d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced purchase order to: QUESTIONMARK CORPORATION 535 CONNECTICUT AVE, STE 100, NORWALK, CT 06854-1700, for the purchase of 1 author pack, 300 user licenses, and the support renewal. The (justification) procurement is to the advantage of the Government in that In March 2001, we acquired the Question Mark software package under PR FU3047101201. This software has already been approved for use in U.S government computers and we have been using it for over 10 years. We will not require any additional training, time, and support required to get new software up and running. Purchasing different software will require the government to invest an additional money, which would not be required if we purchase the Question Mark Software. Question Mark is the standard used by all AETC technical training schools and has a proven track record among hundreds of military organizations. Other products are available, but do not offer the combination of strengths that Question Mark offers. It provides a complete package of authoring, database recording, phone support, and free web-based training when needed for new personnel. Requirements for this purchase: NUMBER ITEM QUANTITY UNIT 0001 Author Pack 1 each 0002 User Licenses 300 each 0003 Support Renewal 1 Lot A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract will be based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
