The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Shiprock Service Unit, New Mexico plans to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract with Navajo Sanitation (UEI KK68HKZXBL68 ) for the services at Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center, Bloomfield, New Mexico.
The anticipated period of performance is from September 01, 2026 to August 31, 2027. In accordance with RFO 12.102 Restricting competition valued at or below the simplified acquisitions threshold; thus RFO 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111, Solid Waste Collection, with an associated small business size standard of $47 million of dollars.
The proposed contractor is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required solid waste management services without interruption to facility operations that support patient care. The contractor has prior experience at the facility and possesses detailed knowledge of its operations and waste management requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in government point of entry SAM.gov. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
Vendors capable of providing the stated services may submit a capability statement. Verbal responses will not be considered. Responses are due August 17, 2026 by 10:00 am MST.
