Notice of Intent - TEC Increase for Restoring Efficiency to Agriculture Production Activity (REAP) in Georgia

The United States Government, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) office in Georgia, plans to increase the budget ceiling of the existing Restoring Efficiency to Agriculture Production (REAP) contract implemented by CNFA. This contract modification is aimed at providing essential technical assistance and equipment to Georgia's National Food Agency to combat the infestation of the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, a pest that threatens agricultural productivity in the country. The additional funding will extend the contract's scope and resources for an 18-month period. Under this modification, the total estimated cost of the REAP contract (contract number AID-114-C-13-00002) will be increased by $3 million, reflecting USAID's commitment to addressing this agricultural challenge. The contract's primary focus is on improving pest management strategies to safeguard Georgia’s agricultural sector.
