Full Description

The Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Office of the Deputy of the Administrative Assistant (OAA), United States Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA) Consolidated Customer Support Center (CCSC), intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (iii) (A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Cornet Technology, 6800 Versar Center, Ste. 216., Springfield, VA 22151. Cornet Technology unique qualifications stem from the fact that they have developed, marketed, and supported the Cornet Switch. The procurement action is to award a purchase order to Cornet Technology for the requisitioning of a Cornet SM PCU/2 Controller Card for use in an existing Cornet switch, in support of the CCSC. Cornet Technology is the only manufacturer and seller of the SM PCU/2 Controller Card. The hardware required to fullfill this effort is proprietary Cornet Technology. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract with a delivery date of 60 days from contract award. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no RFP available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted.
