Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source 8(a) Ahtna Link Technical Services JV, LLC, an Alaskan Native Corporation for the U.S. Department of Energy, Oak Ridge Environmental Office to develop a Characterization Plan for the remediation of the David Witherspoon Screen Arts Site.
The U.S. Department of Energy, Oak Ridge Environmental Office, intends to issue a non-commercial services order pursuant to the authority of FAR RFO 19 on a sole source basis Ahtna-Link Technical Services. This procurement for services to complete a characterization and disposal plan for the radiologically-contaminated Witherspoon Screen Arts Sites, as well as the completion of characterization and a final report. Due to numerous unknowns, optional scope includes additional sample collections; development of applicable documentation for both onsite and offsite disposal; performance of surveys; equipment/material removal, and securing the site (cameras, fence repair, signs, security guard). The proposed action will be a non-Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Services purchase order.

If potential offerors choose to submit information, past performance and references regarding capability to perform these services must be provided along with the statement of capability. The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. The Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice. This item may be awarded without further notice.
