Full Description
This Presolicitation Notice is issued pursuant to FAR 5.101(c) and serves as the Government’s Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Phoenix Rearing Facility (PRF), Phoenix, Arizona, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Foss Therapy Services, Inc. (UEI: TADAL13NTM57) under FAR Part 12 procedures. The requirement is for the Cobalt‑60 reload of the Foss Therapy Model 484F‑C irradiator, as detailed in the statement of work. Pricing shall include all costs necessary to perform the required services, including overhead, general and administrative expenses, profit, insurance, transportation, labor, equipment, and supplies.
This notice does not constitute a competitive solicitation. Foss Therapy Services, Inc. retains proprietary rights to the designs, engineering tolerances, and mechanical specifications of the Model 484F‑C irradiator. Nevertheless, all responsible sources may submit a quotation or capability statement for consideration.
