The Wisconsin Air National Guard (WIANG) intends to award a sole source contract effective on or about October 26, 2007 for the upgrade of Motorola manufactured radios. Contract with Motorola Inc., 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive, 3rd Floor, Columbia, MD 21046-2583 has been determined to be in the best interest of the Government due to the fact the governments requirement is to have existing Motorola radios upgraded so that they will work on a special frequency which only Motorola Inc. can provide. This is not a formal solicitation. No solicitation document will be issued and telephonic requests will not be accepted. Responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that respondee is able to offer advantages over the selected contractor - Motorola Inc. Determination not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. Absent response to this Notice within two (2) days, an award will be processed to Motorola Inc.
