This modification will be awarded to COLSA Corporation, 6726 Odyssey Drive, Huntsville, Alabama 35806-3302, to increase the contract ordering period and period of performance from September 17, 2017 to September 16, 2018 to provide uninterrupted support to the Advanced Research Center. The recommended North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541712 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology) with a size standard of 1250 employees. MDA is required to use the 2012 NAICS Code 541712 in lieu of the 2017 NAICS Code 541715 because the legacy SPS system cannot be updated at this time. Once the system is updated, the 2017 NAICS will be used. This notice is not a request for proposals. This action will result in a modification to the contract which is necessary to allow for the continuity of critical contractor services until a competitive contract is awarded. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for enhancing competition in a future competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses must be received no later than June 14, 2017, 3:30 pm central time and should be submitted electronically to sherry.trowbridge@mda.mil and michelle.leger@mda.mil.
