THE CLAUSE AT FAR PART 52.232-18, AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS (APR 1984), WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO ANY RESULTING SOLICITATION. The 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL, intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole source, contract to PowerTrain, Inc, Landover, MD, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source, "For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name or industrial mobilization). The requirement is for one year E-Exam software maintenance from 1 October 2014 to 30 September 2015 in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Firms responding to this anouncement are asked to provide the following information in their response: company's full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the item the government is seeking, must respond NLT 12:00, noon, CDST on 28 August 2014.
