This is not a solicitation. This is a Notice of Intent (NOI) to award a sole source modification to Dominion Energy South Carolina (DESC), (formally South Carolina Electric and Gas) from General Services Administration (GSA) Contract No. GS-00P-06-BSD-0379, Task Order DE-DT0005213. The Department of Energy (DOE), Savannah River Site (SRS) Aiken, SC, 29808 is issuing this NOI to inform industry of the Government's intent to execute a sole source modification to extend the period of performance for up to five months on a sole source basis using the statutory authority 41 USC 3304(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. DESC currently provides utilities, operations, equipment, and maintenance to perform this effort. DOE intends to extend the contract ordering period with DESC to provide for continuity of electrical services.
