Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Huachuca Division, DOC Operations Branch intends to award a noncompetitive sole source contract to JWC Environmental, Inc.; 2600 South Garnsey Santa Ana, CA 92707 to provide Channel Monster Upgrade for Department of Public Works at Fort Huachuca, AZ. JWC Environmental is the inventor and owner of the Auger Monster and they hold the patent and trademarks on this product. They are also the sole manufacturer of these products and the exclusive source for service parts for this equipment. The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 (b), Soliciting from a single source (1) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333318. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement.
